Loved this pic by Paulo Vizeu on Flickr, reminded me of resolve . Have been bit ill over the last couple of weeks but I'm still waiting for SABP to formally acknowledge that I am not happy with its response to my complaint about Fiona and hubby Mark Edwards of Softools using the Trust for their own ends and Stanley Riseborough , SABP's User Involvment chappy no less, has yet to get back to me about progressing my complaint to next stage of the NHS complaints process. Stanley has been formally asked to do this and Fiona has been copied in so you have to wonder what the problem is.

Please Help Support the Pledge

The Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Trust runs a commercial garden centre staffed by people with disabilities & recently cut the Â£3 a day payments to these workers and now expects them to work for nothing. SABP has 179 people engaged in similar what it calls ' therapeutic work ' across its various work schemes.
We are campaigning to see that SABP's disabled workers at least get the national minimum wage or if they are on benefits paid at the appropriate permitted work rules rates.

We are also appalled that Surrey & Borders has treated its disabled workers in this way while claiming that its services are User Friendly.

This uncaring 'professional' attitude towards and exploitation of disabled workers isnt just happening in Surrey, it appears to be part of wider DWP and NIMHE policy . Please use the Action Links below to support the campaign and let other people know what is going on.
